I was intending to write about the future of Keoni Studio & the plans & projects I have upcoming. However, I believe we can all agree that there is a time & place to lose ourselves in daydreams about the future. The future should never cloud our perspective of the present, & there is something more pressing that needs to be discussed. The trajectory our country sees itself on & the ramifications the actions of this administration have on the future of America.
Unseen Impact
When I have discussions centering around politics, a sentiment that I encounter often is that politics has never really impacted their life, so they don’t see any reason to keep up-to-date with it. Everything is just sensationalized and catastrophized statements to garner donations for the next mid-term. I won’t sit here and lie to you and say they’re wrong. They’re absolutely right. Politics hasn’t really had any major impact on their day-to-day life.
It’s also a abhorrently selfish statement to make.
